And It's So Easy to Catch Them When They Do That
THE NOW-FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE SOUTH SENECA Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Richard Heichel was arrested and charged with 15 counts of petit larceny for using squad credit cards to make purchases for his personal use.
Heichel, 44, was also charged by the Seneca County, New York, sheriff with grand larceny for stealing money generated from a fund-raiser for the ambulance company. He has also been accused of withdrawing cash through an ATM from the squad's bank account.
He has been released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court on January 15.
