Plane Into Home in Maryland

One Person Critically Injured

A LIGHT PLANE CRASHED INTO an Anne Arundel County, Maryland, trailer part Thursday morning around 10:15 am Eastern.  The plane appears to have struck two mobile homes and damaged a third from debris and parts.

WUSA-TV is reporting:

An Anne Arundel County Fire spokesperson says one 70-year-old man has been transported from the scene with life threatening injuries. He has been taken to Shock Trauma.

Anne Arundel County Police say two people were taken to Shock Trauma. Police say that the pilot of the plane was conscious and alert when being transported. They added that there were no injuries on the ground.

The plane appears to be nearly cut in half in the side of the home. the helicopter footage also appears to show a broken-off wing into trailer across the street, and possible landing gear into a third house.
