From our friends in Warrenton, NORTH CAROLINA:

The Warren County Firemen's Association is hosting its 30th Anniversary Warren County Firemen's Day on Saturday, September 28th in historic Warrenton, North Carolina.

As part of the celebration we will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the "LARGEST PARADE OF FIRE ENGINES" and we would like for you to participate.

Help us to bring at least 221 fire engines to downtown Warrenton for this 11 am parade. In-service, reserve, new, antique, private…we want your fire engine!

Fire Truck definition from Guinness World Records for the ‘LARGEST PARADE OF FIRE ENGINES: "For the purposes of this record, a fire engine is defined as: a vehicle that is, or has been, in service with a fire brigade service, and which is (or was) capable of putting out fires. Note that command and support vehicles in service with fire brigades are not eligible."

Please complete the Firemen’s Day Registration Form and return it no later than September 1st to the Warren County Firemen’s Association, P.O. Box 563, Warrenton, NC 27589.

We are also seeking sponsors for the Warren County Firemen's Day.
