Fiery Tanker Crash in Australia

Head-On Crash With No Fatalities

THREE PEOPLE ARE COUNTING their blessings in Queensland, Australia, today.  Early Monday morning a gasoline tanker carrying 25,000 gallons of product collided head-on with a car triggering an explosive fire that destroyed both vehicles.

The truck driver and two passengers in the car escaped the wreckage.

9News tv network is reporting:

A 500m exclusion area was set up around the crash site after the explosion sparked a grass fire.

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A Queensland Police Media spokeswoman said it was lucky that no one was killed in the head-on smash.
